Coaches Corner
Date: Winter 22nd February 2026
Coach: Teodora
Notes:
Chris always tries his best and never gives up. He has improved his forehands and now hits with lots more spin, nice snap through the ball. What we should work on next is keeping his upper body still and better coordination with his lower body.
Backhands are more consistent and he hits with better aim. Next focus should be on relaxing little bit more and squeezing the
racket less.
Volleys are good and he is able to use them well in his game. We should continue to work on using more of his shoulder and locking his wrist.
On serves he needs to focus on tossing more to his right side and using his wrist more. He has a good contact point on his serves and good motion.
Overall, he is a good player and he should continue to
practice, to focus and stay positive.
